The Nigeria–Türkiye Business Council (NTBC), in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), recently hosted a virtual enlightenment session for members of NTBC on the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP 2.0) a powerful initiative shaping the future of Nigeria’s workforce.
NJFP 2.0 is set to place 23,724 young Nigerian graduates in structured 12-month work placements across key sectors nationwide. Since its launch in 2022, the programme has already connected over 21,000 fellows with 5,000+ organizations, driving real impact in talent development and business growth.
What this means for businesses:
• Access to highly skilled, vetted young professionals
• Zero stipend cost (₦150,000 monthly covered by UNDP)
• A strong pipeline of future talent
• Opportunity to mentor and shape Nigeria’s next generation workforce
For young graduates:
• Hands-on work experience
• Digital skills and entrepreneurial training
• Enhanced employability and career growth opportunities
Host organizations play a vital role by providing meaningful roles, mentorship, and a supportive work environment, ensuring fellows gain real-world experience that prepares them for long-term success.
With a rigorous selection process and a growing alumni talent hub, NJFP continues to bridge the gap between education and employment, fueling innovation, productivity, and sustainable development across Nigeria.
