NTBC Facilitates Strategic Trilateral Engagement Between Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) and Turkish Post (PTT)

In furtherance of its mandate to advance economic diplomacy and strengthen bilateral cooperation, the Nigeria–Türkiye Business Council (NTBC) convened its first virtual trilateral engagement between the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) and Turkish Post (PTT) on Tuesday, 21 April 2026.

The engagement reinforces NTBC’s role in facilitating strategic public–private sector partnerships and reflects its commitment to translating bilateral relations into tangible, investment-driven outcomes, building on the momentum of the State Visit of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to Türkiye.

Discussions focused on key areas of collaboration, including logistics modernization, e-commerce integration, smart infrastructure, and financial services innovation.

NIPOST highlighted its ambition to position Nigeria as a gateway for West African e-commerce through expanded logistics capacity and infrastructure development. In response, PTT presented its advanced capabilities in e-commerce platforms and end-to-end logistics solutions, demonstrating readiness to support NIPOST’s transformation agenda.

Both parties expressed strong interest in advancing cooperation and agreed on immediate and structured next steps to ensure continuity and progress. The engagement laid the foundation for deeper collaboration in cross-border e-commerce, digital payments, and infrastructure development, with a view to establishing scalable and sustainable partnerships within the postal and logistics ecosystem.
