The Nigeria-Türkiye Business Council (NTBC) recently met with the Vice President of the Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN), Prince Yandev Vincent Amaabi, to explore ways to boost the poultry industry, viewing Türkiye as a potential partner. Accompanied by Ms. Tracy Dzungwe and Mr. Emmanuel Akaade, the meeting provided an opportunity for productive discussions on collaboration within the sector.

NTBC is working to strengthen agribusiness ties between Nigeria and Türkiye, focusing on the poultry sector.

The meeting centered on three key areas: assessing the needs of local poultry farmers, sourcing Turkish technology for feed production, and building capacity through technical knowledge exchange.

With both the Nigerian and Türkiye governments eager to collaborate, NTBC is pushing to bring Turkish agricultural technology to Nigerian farmers, with matchmaking initiatives on the horizon.
