As a result of the Nigeria-Türkiye Business Council’s strategic relevance, Leadership Newspaper held a meeting with the NTBC regarding support for hosting the inaugural Leadership Lifetime Awards, scheduled to be held in Türkiye.
The NTBC delegation was led by the Director General, Uche Osoka, alongside Nguavese Tracy Dzungwe, Business Development Manager; Comfort Erim, NTBC Treasurer; and Daniel Ene-Ita, Executive Assistant. The delegation met with the Leadership Newspaper team, including Azu Ishiekwene, Senior Vice Chairman; Mike Okpere, Vice Chairman; Abraham Ndam-Isaiah, Director of Conference; and Ezekiel, General Manager, Conference.
Discussions centred on leveraging NTBC’s strategic network and institutional relevance to facilitate the successful delivery of the inaugural Leadership Lifetime Awards, which is expected to bring together international government officials, business leaders, and institutional stakeholders for a landmark event celebrating outstanding businesses and leadership contributions across Africa.
As an immediate outcome of the engagement, a joint Working Committee comprising representatives of both NTBC and Leadership Newspapers was constituted to coordinate planning and implementation activities for the event.
The engagement further underscores NTBC’s broader commitment to fostering cross-sectoral cooperation by bridging business, media, and institutional stakeholders to strengthen economic and strategic relations between Nigeria and Türkiye.
