NTBC and Sefa Visa Explore Strategic Partnership to Strengthen Visa Support

The Nigeria–Türkiye Business Council (NTBC), led by the Director General Ms. Uche Osoka recently paid a strategic visit to Sefa Visa the Turkiye Visa Processing Centre in Abuja, where the team was received by Dr. Mustapha Aminu Tukur, the Managing Director Country Operations Coordinator.

The courtesy visit strengthened business collaboration between both organizations, specifically for seamless travel document processing and collection for NTBC members travelling for business to Türkiye.

The NTBC Delegation was delighted to hear that SEFA Visa Office in Lagos will be fully operational on the 1st of June, 2026 with plans to open up offices in Northwest, South East and South South to promote ease and increase access to intending travellers to Turkey.

The Nigeria–Türkiye Business Council remains committed to fostering strategic partnerships that enhances bilateral trade relations, ease of business travel and creating more opportunities for collaboration between Nigerian and Turkish businesses.

NTBC Strengthens Diaspora Engagement Collaboration with the Abia State Diaspora Commission (ADCOM)

The Nigeria–Türkiye Business Council (NTBC) recently held a strategic meeting with the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Abia State Diaspora Commission, Rev. Amb. Annie Onu, to explore opportunities for collaboration aimed at strengthening diaspora-driven investment, trade, and development initiatives between Nigeria and Türkiye.

The meeting provided an avenue for productive discussions on leveraging the Abia diaspora community to foster international partnerships, attract investment opportunities, and promote economic growth through strategic engagement with Turkish stakeholders.

Key areas of discussion included diaspora investment promotion, product readiness, investor readiness, trade facilitation, cultural exchange, and opportunities for capacity building and strategic partnerships that will benefit both Abia State and the broader Nigerian economy.

As NTBC continues to expand its engagement across sectors, the Council remains committed to building impactful partnerships that strengthen Nigeria–Türkiye relations and create opportunities for inclusive growth.

The Nigeria–Türkiye Business Council (NTBC) participated in the Infrastructure Dialogue 2026 hosted by Deutsche Partners Holding DPH at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.

Representing NTBC were Ms. Nguavese Tracy Dzungwe, Business Development Manager, and Ms. Chioma Onwutuebe, Administrative Officer. Ms. Dzungwe also served as a panelist on discussions focused on financing growth, institutional capital, and support for African businesses.

The event brought together top government officials, investors, development finance institutions, business leaders, and stakeholders to discuss infrastructure development, sustainable financing, entrepreneurship, and economic growth across Africa.
