$40 million Turkish fertiliser project will boost employement and food production

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has said that the $40 million organic fertilizer factory to be sited in the state by Turkey-based Alliance Group was capable of boosting employment, food production and agribusiness.Mr Oyebanji said the government would continue to woo investors to the state in the bid to position it as a major industrial and investment hub in the country.The governor disclosed this in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday during a meeting with officials of Istanbul, Turkey-based Alliance Group on plans to establish a $40 million organic fertilizer factory in the state.Source: Premium Times

NTBC signs MoU for collaboration on events and specialized tours

On Friday, 16th February, 2024, NTBC Chairman Dele Kelevin Oye Esq. and CEO of Zhingamale Enterprises Arc. Nanwor Mamven signed an MOU for collaboration on events and specialized tours to and from Turkiye in order to boost NTBC International Trade Promotion efforts. NTBC Chairman Pays courtesy visit to Turkiye Ambassador ahead of Nigeria-Turkiye Investment Forum 2024

The Chairman of Nigeria-Turkiye Business Council and National President NACCIMA, Dele Kelvin Oye accompanied by Ms. Uche Osoka, Administrator of NTBC paid a courtesy visit to the Turkiye Ambassador His Excellency Hidayet Bayraktar. Also present at the meeting was the Commercial Counsellor Mr. Sefa Akyol. A key outcome of the meeting was announcement of the hosting of the Nigeria-Turkiye Investment Forum in Abuja and B2B meetings in Abuja and Lagos in June 2024

Expatriate Levy (EEL) on hold, Minister of Interior annouces at meeting with Delegation led by NACCIMA President/NTBC Chair Dele Oye kelvin

On Friday 8th March 2024, the National President of NACCIMA & Chairman of NTBC Dele Kelvin Oye led a delegation including the Chairman NACCIMA Digital Economy Trade Group Mr, Adeyemi Idowu, Chairman of Nigeria Special Economic Zones Chief Nabil Saleh, NACCIMA Honorary Life Vice President & Council Member NTBC, NTBC Administrator, Ms. Uche Osoka, Rikard Nordeman of the Delegation of European Union to Nigeria & ECOWAS Community, Nigeria Association of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (NASME), and Mr. Nick Odinume Chairman of Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) to a meeting with the Honourable Minister of Interior and Honorable Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment where the Hon Minister of Interior announced that the roll-out of the Expatriate Levy (EEL) is put on hold pending the conclusion and consultation with NACCIMA and stakeholders.

NTBC 2023 End of Year Business Council

It was an amazing evening of camaraderie mixed with business & social networking at our Nigeria-Turkiye Business Council (NTBC) end of year business cocktail 2023.
